Calculation of Installation Height

When choosing to use a pump the user should consider the installation height, that is to say the vertical distance between the liquid surface and the pump shaft center should shorter than the pump's prescribed installation height.

The pump's prescribed installation height is calculated according to the following formula:

Hsz --- The prescribed Installation Height

Ha --- The atmospheric pressure head under the condition of the use site (m)

Hv --- The vaporizable pressure head under the temperature of the pumping

Liquid (m)

Hs --- The suction piping losing head (m)

NPSHR --- NPSHR written on the performance parameters (m)
